Thanks!! I first gained interest in sewing when I was little watching my mom sew things for me. When I started out i tried hand sewing simple stuff like bags & home decor items before investing in a sewing machine. I got by mostly trial and error at that time haha.. I borrowed a lot of books from the library on the subject when I got a little bit more serious about it. There’s also a pretty big sewing community in the blogosphere. I’ve learned and got inspiration mostly from looking at sewing blogs since a lot of the bloggers make tutorials and share how they tackle sewing techniques. Many blogs do sew-a-longs for specific patterns and it really helps with the learning process too.
ahh That reminds me I’ve been wanting to make a tumblr that provides sewing tutorials/or maybe just me showing off my sewing projects??Seeing that there’s a lack of a sewing community on tumblr I thought maybe I’d try sharing what I’ve learned.. stay tuned maybe
Lately this has been my go to outfit!! I made this dress last summer and I’ve been wearing it to oblivion. I think I might have to make a new one soon.
I’m going to upload all the requests in a dump post when i finish!! I got so many!! thanks guys!!
Anonymous said: Are you still doing the color pallet thing??
Are you asking If I’m still taking requests? Feel free to give me one if you’d like. I’ll try to get to as many as I can.

Anonymous said: hey r u gonna be at ax???
I’m not selling this year but I’ll be around to visit pals and whatnot. I guess I was really tired after last year and swore off tabling at ax ever again. I made a mistake u v u; I’m going to try and get a table next year though.
Hi friends, I’ve been kind of MIA lately but that’s because I was in a really weird drawing funk that’s been haunting me for months now. I had recently finished making my first handmade sketchbook and I think that was the push I needed to be inspired again! I’m the kind of person that really loves to make things and I haven’t really done as much crafting as I’d like since I started school. It’s nice to have some time to do these things again u v u. I’ll have photographs of my sketchbook up soon because I am fucking proud of it. Anyway I’m going to post a lot more this summer!!
I finally finished Kaiba!!! I love anime that makes me cry.
I’ll be watching The Tatami Galaxy next!! I heard it’s considerably happier but I’m sure I’ll cry anyway.
Sorry friends, I’m posting late. I’m still working it but here’s what I’ve got for now.
Long time no see, friends.
Here’s my third year film! It was a wonderful experience getting to see this project to completion; it means a lot to me.
Hi everyone!! Check out Megan’s film! I get emotional every time I see it.
Anonymous said: Hi Linda will you be posting your film here once you've finished it? The development art and loop is absolutely gorgeous *O*
You’ll have to excuse me I’m a fool and I didn’t finish my film yet. I’m still working on it though and it’s very close to being done. I will definitely be posting it as soon as its finished!!! I hope you guys enjoy it when I get around to that since the story is very special to me.
Anonymous said: may i ask your opinion on what kind of laptop an animation student should buy?
I personally have a desktop PC myself and work with a cintiq, since I need something that can handle heavy amounts of work. I can’t say I really have an opinion on what laptop to use except that a majority of my classmates have macs. Though with macs, programs like TVPaint you would need windows to run it. You can install something like parallels to run windows on mac but I don’t know how efficient that would be.
Hi friends, one of you left a message that would probably help:
@oh-wellsee said: Using Tvpaint myself with a mac, runs fine without windows/don’t need to install windows emulator… (unless it’s the cracked version as there’s no crack for mac yet).
Thanks for correcting me.
Me and my roommates are starting a weekly challenge blog to help us grow as artists.
Feel free to follow if you’d like to see us on our journey!!
